Songbird is a desktop media player mashed-up with the Web. Songbird is committed to playing the music you want, from the sites you want, on the devices you want, challenging the conventions of discovery, purchase, consumption and organization of music on the Internet.

Songbird is a player and a platform. Like Firefox, Songbird is an open source, Open Web project built on the Mozilla platform. Macht ganz schon Spass das Teil.. Startet einwenig langsam aber wenigstens leuft es ohne abzustürzen. Bis jetzt auf jedenfall…
Was Songbird macht ist eigentlich ganz simpel.. man gibt eine URL ein und Songbird durchsucht die angegebene Seite nach Musik Dateien. Wird etwas gefunden erstellt Sunbird eine Sammlung der verfügbaren Musikstücke.
Sehr praktisch ist auch der integrierte Download-Manager oder die Import Funktion von I-Tunes Bibliotheken… naja.. das Teil schaut irgendwie auch aus wie I-Tunes :)
Ach ja.. bei Sprache German (German) wählen.. nicht German (Switzerland) ;)
